Yellow Brass is commonly used as the base metal for most student brass instruments. A standard mix of 70 percent copper and 30 percent zinc helps to provide a focused sound with a solid core, produced with very little resistance. The New Standard Bb Trumpet has been designed to specifically suit entry level players. Featuring a leadpipe design which makes it easier to blow, while keeping the same traditional Besson sound.
