Perfect for live performances. The ROLI Live Block is an add-on unit for either the ROLI Lightpad Block or the Seaboard Block that provides added functionality. This includes the ability to switch scales and octaves, trigger chords and more in real time. The ROLI Live Block unit is perfect for live performances providing you with 8 button controls and a two button transport control for quick and easy access to the parameters.


The lightweight and highly compact design will connect with a click to any side of the ROLI Lightpad Block for added convenience. The ROLI Live Block gives you the ability to adjust the volume, select a scale, trigger arpeggios as well as bookmark your favourite sounds for instant recall.

This expansive unit designed for the ROLI Lightpad Block brings a range of new tools and controls that are perfect for live performances. The lightweight and highly compact unit provides you with a range of buttons assigned to different functions allowing you to do everything from create chords and switch scales to create arpeggios, change volume and more. The ROLI Live Block can be attached to any side of the ROLI Lightpad Block with a DNA connector.

Create complex melodies

The ROLI Live Block adds individual buttons for: Volume, Chord, Scale, Arp, Sustain, Octave and Bookmarks. These highly intuitive functions allow you to bring out the best from your live performances, giving you everything you need to create complex melodies and sequences. One of the most unique and convenient features is the ‘Bookmark’ tool which allows you to save your favourite sounds and recall them instantly.

Expansive connectivity

The ROLI Live Block is simple to use, simply connect the block to one of the DNA connectors on your ROLI Lightpad and you’re ready to go. The robust buttons are only a finger-length away from the Lightpad’s playable surface, making navigating through parameters and sounds, a quick and easy process. You can also reconfigure the Blocks to cater to your requirements, even in the middle of a performance. Thanks to the built-in wireless connectivity if you disconnect the Block from the ROLI Lightpad, they can still work together wirelessly for added convenience.
