Utilising an advanced quad-microphone array, the Connex delivers superior performance and audio fidelity compared to conventional conferencing/USB microphones. It also features onboard DSP processing using SSL's acclaimed EQ and dynamics algorithms to ensure the best possible sound reproduction for broadcast-grade audio fidelity. Sleek, portable and easy to use; the SSL Connex is ideal for musicians, workers and content creators – providing four preset modes to optimise the microphone to any situation.

The four preset modes are comprised of: Solo, Group, Vocal and Music. Each preset mode is represented by different coloured LED lighting on top of the microphone. For instance, activating 'Group' mode would turn the SSL logo to a green colour whereas 'Music' mode is represented by blue lighting. There is an additional mode in the form of 'Immersive' that is available for each of the four modes, allowing you to access each of the four mic sources for immersive and spatial recordings/broadcasts.

Advanced adaptive technology

When switching between each mode, the SSL Connex will change various parameters to make the microphone suitable for your chosen application. When in 'Group' mode, the Connex will utilise all four microphones and its automatic onboard mixer, ensuring every participant is heard whilst minimising any background noise. Switching to 'Music' mode, the Connex will alter the sensitivity of the microphone array, reducing the noise floor and minimise unwanted background noise. Combined with the onboard studio-grade processing, the Connex is perfect for live performances, music demos, live-streaming, conference calls and more!

High-powered headphone output and touch-sensitive controls

Monitor your sound whilst you record using the built-in 3.5mm headphone output. Enjoy crystal-clear audio and zero-latency monitoring with touch-sensitive controls for adjusting the headphone level and muting the microphone. One of the most unique features of this portable desktop microphone are 'Cough Switch' and 'Push To Talk' functions that allow you to mute/unmute the mic on the fly.

Lightweight, portable and USB-powered; the SSL Connex is perfect for musicians or professionals on the go. It also features a 1/4-inch camera tripod thread within the bass as well as a mic stand thread adapter for flexible mounting options. The Connex also comes complete with a 2 metre USB Type C to C cable and a USB Type C (female) to Type A (male) adapter to get you started straight out of the box.
