Classic Alder Body

The Ibanez AT100CL’s body is crafted from lightweight alder, producing balanced, resonant tones with plenty of clarity and midrange bite ideal for the versatile musician. The alder tonewood provides a decent amount of sustain, creating bright, sizzling highs, beautifully rounded lows, and a beefy midrange. Its balanced response and slight upper middle definition makes it perfect for rock and blues playing.

Maple Neck & Fingerboard

This stunning guitar is paired with maple neck designed for comfort, delivering an incredible performance suitable to a wide variety of playing styles. Mounted with a maple fingerboard, players can achieve a snappy tone with a sizzling high end and firm lows. The maple tonewood provides the Fender with a beautifully bright characteristic, tightening up the overall tones and delivering plenty of cut and bite. Using maple for both the neck and fingerboard provides players with a sharp, clear punch when the strings are hit hard, while light to medium picking brings out the subtler tones of the maple.

DiMarzio AT-1 & The Cruiser Pickups

Equipped on the AT100CL Ibanez are a set of DiMarzio’s The Cruise single-coil size humbuckers, coupled with Andy Timmon’s signature DiMarzio AT-1 humbucker. The AT-1 bridge humbucker offers a beautifully balanced tone, with exceptional warmth and clarity to suit Andy’s personal taste. The middle and neck Cruiser pickups offer a classic single-coil tone without the hum, string drop-outs, or sustain-killing magnet pull. Its harmonic overtones offer that ''true'' single-coil quality, with a classic open midrange and vocal sound. Their hot output and chunky bass response delivers a unique sound, with plenty of depth for a versatile performance.

Wilkinson/Gotoh VSVG Tremolo

The addition of the Wilkinson/Gotoh VSVG Tremolo provides Andy’s Signature Ibanez with an incredible versatile and high-performance playing experience. Produced by Gotoh and based on a Wilkinson design, this VDVG tremolo bridge is designed to improve tuning stability while offering strong pitch shits with ease.

Gotoh H.A.P-M Locking Tuners

This Signature Ibanez Guitar is equipped with a set of Gotoh locking tuners to ensure the guitar stays in tune through the harshest performances. The tuners combine height-adjustable posts with the Magnum Lock system, offering incredible stability, quick and easy tuning, and the abilty to adjust each string to enhance sustain.

Andy Timmons is an American rock guitarist who has been in the bands Danger Danger and Pawn Kings, as well as having a prominent career as a solo and session musician.
