Pair of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker Pickups

The EC-1000 is loaded with a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers at the neck and bridge positions. Fishman Fluence pickups are free from hum and other unwanted background noises, providing a pure and clean tone. Fluence pickups are also multi-voiced, and allow you to easily switch between the two unique voices, which can be accessed via standard switches or push-pull controls. The Alnico neck pickup delivers the classic explosive alnico sound, with two voices for added versatility. With voice 1 producing a full, high output tone with excellent articulation, and voice 2 producing a crisp and clean neck tone. The Ceramic bridge pickup has great punch and an aggressive tone which works well paired with the Alnico Neck. Voice 1 has the classic active humbucker sound of a crisp, tight bass with great crunch, and voice 2 has excellent dynamics and a high output.

Efficient Hardware

The EC-1000 Fluence features an innovative TonePros Locking Tune-O-Matic Bridge and Tail piece system which eliminates a problem which some guitarists may have encountered. The lack of stability when the strings are removed, sometimes causes the bridge/tailpiece to fall off and minor, meaning that unwanted adjustments to the bridge height need to be made. The TonePros Locking Tune-O-Matic Bridge and Tailpiece make that a thing of the past; with high tension springs fitted into the attachments, the bridge now clips and locks into place without the use of tools and also increases sustain by up to 20.

Mahogany Body & Flame Maple Top

Mahogany as a body tonewood creates a warm and rich tone with excellent depth. It also offers durability and a tone which will mature over the years, for a long lasting investment. The resonant tone makes it an ideal companion for punchy rock music. The flame maple top gives this guitar a stunning and unique 3-dimensional appearance, as well as extending the tonal range of the mahogany. In addition, the EC Series body shape also features a single cutaway, which allows easier access to the higher frets and more flexibility across the whole fingerboard.

3-Piece Mahogany Neck & Macassar Ebony Fingerboard

The ESP EC-1000 Fluence's neck is made from 3-piece mahogany, which is sturdy, durable and is therefore more resistant to warping than the classic 1-piece. The neck is made from mahogany, and offers a rich and resonant sound with plenty of warmth. It also has a punchy mid-range emphasis, and the macassar ebony fingerboard brings added sustain and snappy attack, which complements the mahogany's deeper tone.
