The Boca 12 String comes loaded with two DMT Design humbucking pickups in the bridge and neck position which produce a balanced tone with plenty of low end and sparkling highs perfect for the 12-string configuration of the Boca. Mounted in height adjustable plastic caps and featuring a master volume and tone control the DMT Design pickups can be tweaked and used in bridge, bridge/neck and neck positions to provide a range of premium 12 string tones.
Sculpted for perfection
Constructed from a semi hollow Mahogany body and top this model produces a warm and rich tone with plenty of volume and resonance due to the two violin style sound holes. Whether playing acoustically of connected to an amplifier the Boca delivers a deep low response with smooth highs.
The maple neck and walnut fingerboard has been designed for a smooth, fast play, whilst the naturally oily fingerboard absorbs stray overtones for a rich sound. The combination of woods produce warm, mellow tones with complex highs, thick, creamy lows, and an appealing midrange. Its shape fits naturally in your hand and the material is smooth, which means your hand glides between the frets effortlessly.
