In addition to the kick and snare, this seven-piece kit boasts five tom-toms - perfectly sized for pounding rock beats - providing all the variety you need, and opening up a world of configurations to fit your unique drumming style.
The included Star-Mount mounting hardware features cleverly angled tom mounting hoops, which allow you to get the hanging toms closer together, for a super tight setup. There's an included Tama Fast Clamp too, allowing one tom to be mounted from a cymbal stand at the ideal angle. The bundled, 6.5" deep snare drum combines an open, full sound with top-notch sensitivity, and features the same stunning, elm burst finish as the rest of the kit, for an eye-catching, classy, and cohesive look, to match the Superstar Classic's truly stellar sound.

The sound of rock. The Tama Superstar Classic drum kit features 6-ply, 5mm shells on the rack toms, the floor toms and the snare, whilst the bass drum features a thicker 8-ply, 7mm shell for a fatter, heavier tone. The heavy, aggressive thud that the bass drum gives off perfectly contrasts the incredible singing warmth from the rest of the kit. Maple, when compared to other popular tonewoods used in drum construction, is a soft wood with a less dense grain pattern. This allows for higher frequencies, increased warmth and incredibly powerful projection.
A stunning aesthetic
A real head turner. Part of Tama's exclusive Exotix range, this Superstar Classic kit features a limited edition, matte auburn elm burst finish. The clear wood grain and subtle burst effect intentionally hark back to the original Superstar's heyday in the 70s and 80s - a theme which is continued by the inclusion of traditional-look TAMA-T badges and low-mass lugs. Dazzling chrome hoops and mounts complete the Superstar Classic's stylish appearance, for a kit that's just as much a treat for the eyes as the ears.
Tama's Star-Mount System
Perfect positioning. The Tama Superstar Classic Shell Pack features Tama's Star-Mount mounting system, designed to ensure optimal resonance from your drums. This is achieved by providing support at four different points on the batter side hoop of a drum. The bracket bolts slide from left to right, making it far easier to position your rack toms closer together without them making contact.
