The Ludwig 14'' x 6.5'' LM405K Hammered Acrolite Snare Drum is a hand-hammered aluminium snare drum that gives a classic Ludwig tone. The aluminium shell provides a bright, resonant tone with a great balance of frequencies. The sound is similar to that of steel, but with fewer overtones and much more body. The sound is also incredibly universal, ideally suited to any style or genre thanks to the wide frequency range.
The snare features Ludwig's classic Bowtie lugs and 2.3mm triple-flanged steel hoops, keeping your snare in tune and providing easy and reliable tuning when needed.
