The 2Box DrumIt 5 MKII Electronic Drum Module is based on technology from the DrumIt 5 and 3 modules, with a universal trigger interface that allows the connection of any popular pad or trigger. The new MKII model features a hugely expanded 32GB of flash storage, and improves on the Drumit 3's front panel with additional select buttons for each sample pad. Import your own samples or use one of the many professionally recorded and carefully edited preset kits. The multi-layered samples ensure expressive dynamics and superior sound. With sounds from Marco Minneman, Simon Phillips, and Randy Black, carefully edited in the studio to authentic perfection. If your skills have exceeded your current module, you'll hear, and feel the difference. You'll be playing tight rolls and cymbal crescendos with ease thanks to the many velocity layers - essential for authentic dynamic expression.
With loads of multilayered samples recorded in top studios, there's a kit for every style and plenty of sounds to mix up. But, if that's not enough, the DrumIt 5 MKII comes with a PC editor for Windows and MAC. This allows you to create new sounds and loops from wave files, convert them to 2Box's special format, and download them. That means any audio WAV file you want can be converted and added to the module, giving you unmatched customisability. Time to get creative!
Import your favourite sound libraries
One of the unique aspects of the DrumIt 5 MKII is the ability to play sounds from famous drum sound libraries instead of triggering sounds via MIDI to a PC. This is possible by using third party software to convert the libraries, and download them. Not only is that endlessly fun, you won't experience any latency or irritating compatibility issues associated with MIDI use. Easy access module, your favourite sounds, and ultra-low latency, perfect!
Moving on up
A significant upgrade from the original DrumIt 5 comes from the MKII's huge flash storage capacity. 32GB of memory gives you the chance to store eight times as many kit sounds, allowing you to make full use of the handy "Switch Kit Up/Down" feature, assignable to any of the 15 trigger inputs. Stay in the groove
The Universal Trigger Interface allows the user to assign functions to triggers. That means if you have a few spare triggers, you can use them to control the module functions.
