Every Behringer active subwoofer features a custom-engineered low-frequency transducer that has been designed to perform flawlessly with every other element to ensure a truly professional performance. As a result of this, the B1800HP boasts the capability to produce an extremely high sound pressure level - 129db - with a frequency response of 40Hz - 150Hz.
Comprehensive Control
The B1800HP features balanced XLR inputs and outputs, as well as balanced XLR Thru jacks for connecting additional units. The Boost Frequency knob allows you to target a specific frequency between 40Hz and 90Hz, while the Boost switch provides your selected frequency with a +10dB boost. The High Cut dial is independent to the Thru signals and therefore only affects the signals directed to the subwoofer. All output signals are processed through a 100Hz high-pass filter, providing optimised audio for your full-range speakers. A Level knob controls the amount of input gain, and the Phase switch reverses output phase to compensate for frequency cancellation.
