DISC Dubreq Stylophone S2 Overview
The Dubreq Stylophone S2 is an upgraded version of one of the most iconic electronic keyboard instruments of all time. It takes the basic idea of the Stylophone, a stylus-played instrument with a printed circuit board as the keyboard, and makes it into a full analogue synthesizer that fits into a laptop bag. The 37-note keyboard works with the wire-free stylus or with finger touch, for greater flexibility when playing.

View Full DescriptionThe Stylophone S2 was designed to be iconic, quirky and British, just like its predecessor. Keeping the immediacy and tactile quality of the printed circuit keyboard was vital, as was making it a true analogue synth with depth and emotion, rather than a soulless digital machine. With an all analogue signal path, the S2 is capable of creating awesome and unique sounds, reminiscent of a number of famous British synths of the past.
The S2's all metal construction includes a full 37-note, 3-octave monophonic keyboard with +/- 2 octave shifter. It also features a classic British-style 12dB/octave state-variable filter, dual all-transistor voltage controlled oscillators, sub-oscillators for super-fat bass and an eight waveform Low Frequency Oscillator with a 14 octave range.
The auxiliary input socket allows you to use the filter and envelope-generator for other instruments, plus there is a headphone socket, CV and Trigger input sockets and a 1/4" output jack socket.
