Full Description

The Tech 21 Red Ripper Bass Pedal uses the R.I.P control to power the bass tone from vintage fuzz to tectonic distortion and into the realms of Brassmaster-style octaver fuzz. While the Red Ripper is fully capable of mimicing the tones of an envelope filter , the signal is not being filtered as such, meaning that the tone doesnt doesn't thin and isn't prone to dropping off when the effect is engaged. This consistency in tone is essential for maintaining such an imposing and monstrous sound.

Unlike its vintage counterparts the pedal comes with the benefits of modernised technology making it more reliable and practical. An Active three-brand EQ delivers studio grade tone shaping in the confines of a compact pedal, while the Level and Drive controls let the user locate the sweet spot between dirt and volume. A low pass filter switch compensates for full range bass systems equipped with tweeters.
