The Taylor 412ce has a Grand Concert body with cutaway, significantly smaller than the Grand Auditorium. Comfort is of a premium due to the tapered waist and shorter scale, as well as a lighter string tension. Exceptional Pickup System

Taylor's industry leading Expression System pickup ensures that this guitar is ready for the studio or the stage. Taylor pickup systems have been setting the standard that other brands aspire to achieve for many years. The system uses magnetic sensors mounted on the body and under the fingerboard, meaning that when you plug in, you hear an accurate, warm representation of your guitar. The pickup features an on board preamp with a custom voiced EQ and dials to control the treble, bass and master volume of the guitar, and a phase switch for feedback control.

Unique Bracing Pattern

A significant factor behind the incredible sound of the 412ce is the forward shifted bracing pattern with a relief rout. The 'x' in the bracing pattern is moved closer to the sound hole, enabling more of the guitar top to vibrate, delivering maximum tonal quality and projection.

The NT neck was designed to give players a straighter, more stable guitar neck, resistant to common problems such as changes in humidity.
