The Fender Reso-Tele has a maple Telecaster body, finished in Two Color Sunburst and featuring a stylised Fender "F" sound hole and a hand-spun cone crafted in Eastern Europe for rich resonator tone. The "C"-shaped maple neck has a rosewood fingerboard.

The standard Telecaster neck pickup and Fishman® Powerchip under-saddle pickup can be blended together to taste, and there is also a master volume control. The maple "biscuit" bridge has a bell-brass nickel-plated tailpiece.
