So when creating his signature guitar, Dustie needed something that could deliver a wide selection of tones, everything from brutal high-gain chugs to harmonic soaring solos. Powerful signature pickups

If you want to replicate the range of both heavy and melodic sounds that Between the Buried and Me are so well known for, you will be pleased to know that the Dustie Waring CE 24 comes equipped with a set of signature Mojotone DW Tomahawk pickups. These aggressive humbuckers push out plenty of output with a fat bottom end and crystal clear highs. Perfect for both heavy riffs and intricate lead playing.

This is all down to the Tomahawk's unique design. Made with a blend of Ceramic and Alnico magnets, and constructed using a special winding technique, these pickups take the best aspects of two popular pickup magnets and combine them to make a totally new sounding humbucker. Combine this with a single volume and tone control, along with a 5-way pickup selector switch, and you get a set of pickups that can produce a wide range of powerful tones that have no problem slicing through the mix.

To do this, he took a standard PRS Pattern Thin neck design and modified it, making it slightly thinner front to back. This allows your hand to rest more comfortably when playing further down the fretboard, so you can play faster for longer.
