The Gibson ES-330 2018 features a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body, delivering a bright tone with a balanced response. In addition, a pair of traditional ''F'' sound holes are also included, and not only offer a classic appearance, but deliver resonance and enhanced projection. The ES-330 also has quarter sawn adirondack spruce bracing that offers a vintage tonality. Finished with an attractive ebony finish, the ES-330 not only sounds superb but looks extremely impressive.
Burstbucker 1 & 2 Pickups
The Gibson ES-330 2018 is equipped with a set of powerful Burstbucker pickups, with the low output BB1 at the neck and the medium output BB2 at the bridge. The Burstbucker pickups are designed to recapture the authentic tone of the original PAF humbuckers, delivering an incredibly powerful and sweet tone to the modern guitarist. Independent volume and tone controls provide players with excellent tone shaping capabilities, while the toggle switch provides quick and easy changes between pickup configurations. All four controls are hand-wired with orange drop capacitors, providing incredible stability, precision, and an overall consistent tone.
Maple Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard
Constructed from maple, the ES-330's neck offers a bright attack with plenty of bite and sustain. The neck also features a rounded C-shaped profile, offering a comfortable grip in each position up and down the neck. Additionally, the neck's binding is rounded-off, offering a comfortable fit to the contours of your hand. Coupled with a rosewood fingerboard, you can achieve a warm tone with added clarity and a natural feel. Furthermore, its rosewood fingerboard is topped with beautiful dot inlays for added aesthetic appeal.
ABR Bridge
The Gibson ES-330 2018 features an ABR-1 bridge, offering incredible string stability. Its high-quality construction makes it extremely reliable, holding onto the string tension while maximising the transfer of vibrations for an enhanced sustain and vintage tone.
Thinline Trapeze Tailpiece
To keep inline with the ES-330's rich history, the guitar also features an authentic thinline Trapeze tailpiece, constructed from two pieces. One part attaches to the base of the guitar, while the other part is just below the bridge. This tailpiece suspends the strings away from the guitar's body and applies the right amount of tension for a resonant sound, and optimum string vibration.
