Previously known as 'Min-ETune', the Gibson G-Force automatic tuning system offers players the ultimate in quick, precise and stable guitar tuning. With just a couple of button presses and a strum of the guitar strings, G-Force will find the perfect pitch for your desired tuning. Not only there for peace of mind, G-Force will take you between alternate tunings in a matter of seconds, meaning you never have to worry about that awkward song in your set.

Zero Fret Adjustable Brass Nut

The new Gibson 2015 zero fret nut offers players stability and consistency in their tone and playing. Thanks to the unique, patent applied for design, open strings will sound consistent and a lower action can be achieved without the traditional problems.

Wider Neck For Comfort

For 2015 Gibson have given their guitar necks a major overhaul, and the results are stunning. Each guitar neck and fingerboard has been widened by .050'' - the result is a more comfortable feeling neck that is a joy to play. Gibson have also introduced thicker, one piece fingerboards that have been smooth sanded, buffed and treated with oil, giving you the best feeling Gibson neck ever.

New PLEK Machine Set-Up

Gibson have utilised the German manufactured PLEK machine for many years now - these incredible machines can scan a guitar and apply a perfect, accurate fret dress and action to the guitar. The result is that each Gibson guitar comes out of the box ready to play without any adjustments required. For 2015, Gibson have fine-tuned the PLEK set up, resulting in one of the best feeling electric guitars ever made, with 27 percent lower fret wire across the fingerboard.

Les Paul's 100th Birthday

To mark the 100th birthday of the man who started it all, Les Paul, each 2015 Gibson USA guitar will feature a new signature on the headstock. The 'Les Paul 100' signature if a fitting tribute to one of the greatest players who ever lived. Each Gibson guitar in 2015 will also feature a high gloss lacquer finish for the ultimate in visual appeal, whilst each fingerboard will feature genuine Pearl inlays.

Locking Tune-O-Matic Bridge & Tailpiece

The Gibson 2015 Les Paul Classic incorporates an innovative locking tune-o-matic bridge and tail piece system which eliminates a problem every guitarist who uses a tune-o-matic bridge will have encountered which is the lack of stability when the strings are removed which causes the bridge/tailpiece to fall off and minor unwanted adjustments to the bridge height to be made. However, the locking tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece make that a thing of the past, with high tension springs fitted into the attachments the bridge now clips and locks into place without the use of tools and also increases sustain by up to 20.

Coil Tap, 15dB Turbo Boost and Orange Drop Capacitors

Also utilising pickup push/pull coil selections in both the neck and bridge position the Gibson 2015 Les Paul Classic provides a huge amount of tonal options allowing you to switch the pickup settings from a standard humbucking mode to a single coil, whilst the addition of a orange drop capacitors provide tonal consistency and 15db turbo boost mini-toggle acts as an on-board pre-amp boost ideal for when you need a little extra output to cut through a mix.

'61 Zebra Humbucker Pickups

The 2015 Les Paul Classic features a pair of Gibson '61 zebra humbucker pickups. These hot pickups feature unbalanced wiring resulting in plenty of output for your killer tone. These humbuckers can drive hard when you need aggressive power, but they also clean up nicely when you want to drop things back a notch.
