Known for their powerful voicing and exceptional clarity, the EMG 81 and EMG 85 will give your riffs a turbocharged kick into the stratosphere. The 81 in the bridge offers the crunchiest, most articulate tone you're ever likely to hear. Saturation and bite fly out of this beauty like cannonballs, thanks to its strong midrange and treble response.

The 85 in the neck is also a volcanic pickup. Its reputation for pumping out quality lead tones is legendary, and it will bring your licks into a whole different dimension. Notes will sing with bell-like clarity, and scream with the gain cranked. You'll find that it tracks each note with total precision, meaning you can play as fast as you like without ever sounding muddy. Armed with these two pickups, you'll be taking your tone to the top.

Powerful neck performance

It's sleek, expertly crafted, and ready for action. The sweet three-piece maple neck offers you unparalleled effectiveness when it comes to playing. Made from maple, its smooth surface allows your hand to move along the fretboard with total ease. It has a bright, snappy tonal response whenever you hit the strings, helping to give your notes sharper definition. It also runs all the way through the body, massively increasing note sustain.
