Like many guitars from Ibanez, the RG421 is designed for unlimited playability for demanding players. The RG421 has a neck specification aimed at high-performance, speed and comfortability. It features a Wizard III maple neck that is thin, flat and fast, yet strong and sturdy, allowing for easy and comfortable playing. The fretboard features 24 jumbo frets, allowing for a wide tonal range, and offers a 400mmR radius which sits comfortably in your hand.
The RG421 features an elegant Blackberry sunburst finish that is sure to get you noticed. It has an excellent neck joint that allows for easy high-note shredding. With a body constructed from mahogany, the guitar produces tones that are exceptionally balanced and offer plenty of depth. The mahogany construction means the guitar is also lightweight and durable. The maple neck offers a rounded tone and helps keep things tight and bright, whilst the Mahogany body creates a warm, soft tone that also brings with it some grind and bite to give it some roughness.
